Vietnam - Việt Nam

Located in South East Asia, Vietnam shares its borders with Cambodia, Laos toward the west, with the giant China toward the north. And a long coast of ca. 3000 km faces Pacific Ocean.

Despite a tropical country, Vietnam does not offer sunny days all the year for all of its land. While the south (Khánh Hòa province southward) with only two seasons, dry and rainy, is warm and sunny; the north (Ninh Bình province northward) enjoys four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Central provinces play a role as a gradient in climate between the north and the south. The country comprises 56 provinces (each has one local city, or sometimes two) and 5 central cities (Hà Nội, Hải Phòng, Đà Nẵng, Cần Thơ, and Hồ Chí Minh city).

Geographical differences between the three regions make the thin coastal country various things that can satisfy any visitors. If you are mountain climbers, go to the north. You are fond of long beaches? Spend more time in the centre. The south is definitely for those who love rivers, canals, boats, floating markets and friendliness from locals.

And many many more interesting things are awaiting for you to explore.
